The South Carolina Office of Resilience would like to know if you have experienced flooding problems on your property.
The purpose of this effort is to gather information from citizens to help us identify areas in Calhoun County that are suffering from poor drainage, flooding, and/or erosion due to storm water runoff. The information you provide will be incorporated into a Storm Water Flood Study. The result will be a Stormwater Masterplan which prioritizes problem areas and creates a plan to make improvements.
Please help us improve our County by filling out the attached survey (either via the web link or PDF form found below) and returning it by June 20th, 2023. Public meetings will be held on June 12th at Sandy Run Community Center, 1792 Old State Road, from 6:00-8:00 pm and on June 20th, 2023 at St. Matthews Municipal Court House, 1313 Bridge Street, from 6:00-8:00 pm. You may drop in at any time during either of these meetings to meet the project team and learn about the work being done.
