Part Time Driver for Calhoun County Council on Aging
Calhoun County Council on Aging (CCCOA) is accepting applications for a Driver. The driver is responsible for the transport of authorized elderly and disabled clients to meal site, shopping, social services, medical services and other destinations for engaged and independent living as directed. The operation is to be performed according to state driving laws and other vehicle safety requirements to insure safe and orderly transport of passengers and the maintaining of equipment. Hours worked will vary and no set number of hours or trips is guaranteed.
The driver must be able to complete certification for CPR, First Aid, Defensive Driving, Passenger Assistance Techniques and any other required certification courses as well as pass a pre-employment and random drug testing. He/she must have the ability to push, pull, and assist a 300lb. person into and out of the vehicle, have ability to lift, pull, and /or push a 50lb lift or other objects. All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, valid SC Driver’s License with five (5) years driving experience with no violations in last three years, dependable transportation, working telephone, and free of communicable disease.
Firefighter
