Recycling

Calhoun County participates in a number of Recycling Options. Most recently we have partnered with Clemson Extension and USAg Recycling for Ag Containers. To participate in this program please contact Charles Davis with Clemson Extension at 803-874-2354. The program is free of charge and containers may be dropped off at any collection site around the county.

The Ag Containers are cleaned and packaged

They are then stored at the County Warehouse.

A pickup is scheduled with USAg, the company then chips the containers onsite.

Once chipped the containers are shipped to Texas where they are turned into plastic pipes.
